Hi
I am currently working for my employer for the past 5 years and from the 1st of april, my role within the company will be changing - however i am being put on 6 months probation because of the change in roles and "incase things dont work out" as my employer said.. I have been given my new contract to sign and it does mention that my continious employment began in 2005 but my query is - if I am let go during this 6 month period, am i still entitled to the mandatory redundancy or is this gone until the probationary period is over?
