O oysterman Registered User Messages 580 26 Jul 2005 #4 Don't worry; even if he/she had told you a price that had been bid, you'd have had no way of telling whether you were being lied to or not. The whole system is a mess and it encourages unscrupulous behaviour by estate agents.
