Does anyone have any experience of using a PI in Ireland. It is obviously a discreet industry and not advertised widely.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
 
I used one a few years back to find a Witness to a Will. It cost €500.00 to find the person but for the Executor of the Will it was well worth it. It did feel very duck and cover, as I had to meet the invesitagor in a car in a park. But he was very nice and did an excellent job and found the person in less that 4 days.
 
would this PI or any PI be able to find the natural parents of an adopted person ?

thanks pinkybear but other routes exhausted due to stonewalling by a certain organisation who has all the info and won't share.some info already to hand but limited to a name and dates
 
I have come accross that before in a place I worked, I was appauled and really saddned particularly as I had given up a child for adoption and always live in hope that he will easily find me
 
Thanks for the replies. Does anyone know of any agencies that offer these services and are any good?
