purchased house in a development when I asked my solicitor was the bond in place he found it was not and he insisted on same but the developer said they would forward receipt of same but did not do so then after I had all my side completed the final payment due I insisted I get the bond reciept in My contract stated prior commencement planning bond I held up the final payment because the bond was not in place but got penalised for this and forced to close the sale
Was it wrong to be forced to close a sale without the prior commencement plannig bond being in place or even a receipt especially when it was in my contract for sale ???
