Printer will not print

When I go to try print something from laptop or computer the printer goes through the motions that it is printing but no print appears on the paper, when I use the copy function to copy a page print happens so not sure what issue is, been a while since I used printer and I have new ink inserted that works but not from computor, laptop wifi connection

Sorry should have said it is a Epson sw435w

Hi dodo, have you tried putting the problem/model of printer into Google and see what it comes up with. I had a problem with our printer when we got a new computer a few years ago. I eventually solved the problem by reading other people's solutions through other forums.
 
Try unplugging the machine and waiting a few minutes. Check under control, printers, printing queue to see if the problem is there.
 
Is it a Lexmark printer by any chance?
Mine was doing similar to what you described a while ago. It was a few years old though so decided it would be easier to just replace it, I got one second-hand for 30 euro or so which works great.
 
Lexmark printers were made by the devil!!! Seem to always go wrong at exactly the moment you need an urgent print copy. They also swallow ink by the bucket load and cartridges are really expensive!

Are you sure it's not an EPSON STYLUS SX435W? If it is there might be some help here [broken link removed]
