Primera v Honda Accord

Looking for something around 3k thats reliable. See two 2002 cars,a Primera for 2.5k and a 2 litre Accord with lots of extras for 3.5k. Any advice on the reliability of each?, which might be the best buy?

I have an Accord, very happy with it.
At the age you're talking about it will come down to the specific car; mileage, service history & how well it's been looked after etc.
 
I have had both a Primera and an Accord. I had no complaints from the Primera, it was good and reliable, but the Accord is better built and altogether nicer to drive. Mine is a 98 model and has been fine. Not terribly economical with such a big engine, though.
