Just to let anyone thinking of getting their motor serviced . I was ringing around main dealers down here on the cost of a full sevice,plugs,oil,oil filter,air filter,pollen filter and ecu check. i have a renault. prices ranged from 290-340 euro. I also checked out what they charge for the timing belt service,that was 640 euro.
Out of curiousity, i rang a reno main dealer in Belfast, they charge for full service,exact same as above, 149 pounds,{159 euro}..... and the timing belt service is 199 pounds{212 euro}.
extra 80 quid for the water pump to be changed at same time..
he said there is so much southeners coming up to them they have a shuttle bus service to take them into the city for the day to shop while they work on the car...
its some saving.....
