Price of Mobile Batteries

How is it a small battery for my mobile phone costs about €50 and a hugh battery for my car is €70?

High tech v low tech.

The cost of materials and processes involved in creating a small li-ion battery far exceed the cost of a lead acid battery

buy online - it won't cost € 50

Far higher capacity (for it's size) in a phone battery.

If you are buying online make sure it's not a fake , these can tend to blow up.

Depending on how fancy you want the kit to be, would it be cheaper to buy a new phone.
I was quoted £30 for a new battery for an old Nokia and bought a new Nokia phone for the the same money.

I should point out of course that my needs in a phone are, like myself, fairly simple!
