Hi,
I am trying to figure out how much a piece of land should be worth. It adjoins my property but is wasteland at the moment. I live in an estate and am at the end of my road and over my sidewall is some wasteground which nobody uses or even can access. At the other side of it is a big embankment and a little copse of trees.
I am presuming the developer owns the land although it is due to be handed over to Council soon, will the council own these spaces then?
I was wondering if I could buy it. I would just have it as extra garden space or maybe put a Shomera on it. I couldn't really build on it as it is an awkward shape and not big enough for a house.
But I have no idea how much to offer or even if I legally can buy it?
It should be cheaper than standard residential sites as it is no use to anyone except me. The builder cannot build on it and it will just remain overgrown forever otherwise???
Anyone any ideas - guide prices?
Thanks.
