Looking to convert our flat roofed garage in the near future into a usuable room and would love to put a roof on it but know very little about roofs and am looking for advice. House was 3 bed semi at the top of horseshoe culdesac and previuos owners added garage and kitchen extension with flat roof. They also added util room with flat roof. Some of the kitchen and all of the util extension extend past the main house in a kind of L shape. Due to being at the bend in the culdesac garage gets slightly bigger as it extends back. It is also set 3-4 ft back from main house (to accomodate the garage door).
What are my best options in this case for adding a roof given that rest of ext is flat roof also and what would the costs be? Would I need planning for it? tHX
