The sending bank and receiving bank can both guarantee what they charge on a wire transfer, but they always refuse to disclose or make any guarantee about what their intermediate / partner banks charge.
I've been burned on this a few times now. European banks don't have checks (at least, not for free), so I have no guarantee that all the money will make it to the recipient.
Does anyone know of a European forex broker that charges no wire fees, and also works with a bank that charges no wire fees to/from Europe and the US?
