AIB Prevailing Rate issue. You should ask AIB for a copy of the calculations of the interest refund?

AIB tries to muddy the waters with a complex explanation of how they implemented the Ombudsman's decision.

But what they did is very obvious if you get a copy of how they arrived at the interest figure.

Make sure to get this before complaining to the Ombudsman.

If anyone has already got this calculation, I would like to see a copy of it. Please email it to me at brendan at this website.

letter from BDO attached. Should I ask BDO to ask AIB for the calculation ?

What is your appeal about? It's presumably predates the Karen decision.
I wouldn't bother with the Appeals Panel.
Just write to AIB and ask for it.

Hi Brenden,
I am one of the 6000 AIB tracker redress customers I got my write down and 12 % ..... last year, I thought all cases were finished decision by FSPO I tried to log on after especially to thank you and couldn’t see anything on AIB ? The compound interest is something again I thought AIB would have given in the redress! Sorry I haven’t being reading up on AIB since I got my redress I will write to AIB tomorrow thanks
