Pressure shower pump

Hi,

Pressure is really bad on current shower unit and thinking of having a pump fitted, how much would this cost to have installed(Dublin)

From what i remember in my last house the I got a pumped electric shower fitted for about €350. That was a few years ago. When I was getting a qoute from the plumber he advised against getting just a pump in the hotpress fitted. Probably had to do with the way that particular house was plumbed because he said every time I would turn on a hot tap upstairs the pump would come on. Not an issue in my new house where a pump is fitted. Also worth cleaning the shower head on your existing shower if limescale is a contributory factor to poor pressure.

Got a quote: €700 from a plumber, Is this correct!!!
Does anyone know if an electrician can do this job?

Think I'll retrain if it is because the pump cost approx €300, it would take him half a day, Ummmmmmmmmm so thats €400 for four hours work. Nice earner. Rip of Ireland for sure.
