Selling house and moving out. Applied for mortgage approval which they're giving in principle and will convert to full application. Due baby end of march but want to buy new house estimated completion end of feb. if this is delayed will the approval be retracted after the baby arrives? Am I foolish to wait for new build and should I buy second hand dec/jan time?
The extra time will allow me to save as moving in with parents and paying about 8k for negative equity to get out of current house that's too small? Have 8 percent deposit already.
Bank going to approve for max of 25k more than what we need.
