I've stripped some old woodchip wallpaper from the ceiling in my hall. Underneath are various layers of old glue, peeling paint, plaster, etc.
Is there any product that I can apply over this to seal it in and allow paint to stick properly on top of it?
I'm not worried about the lack of a completely smooth finish, and I also don't want to sand as the mess created will be a non runner at this point in time.
