Pre 1995 pension

Although I am now 20 yrs in my current position in the public service paying the post 1995 full PRSI and pension scheme since 1998,I have now discovered I probably Should have been on the pre 95 low PRSI pension scheme due to service accrued from the civil service and the health board dating back to Jan 1995.Would I still be in a position to pursue this avenue.

It is possible but you need to write to your HR department asap and get them to straighten the issue out, if possible.

You probably have this sorted by now but if not go to the Scope section of DSP the adjudicate on such matters.
