Hi,
I left my last company at the end of January this year. I have €60k in my pension. I have started a new job as a contractor so won't be joining a company pension certainly for the foreseeable future (at least 2 years)
With regard to the €60k I believe my options are:
- Leave where it is (the company is closing so not sure if this is an option)
- Transfer to a Personal Retirement Bond
-Transfer to a PRSA
I also want to set up a PRSA for my own contributions going forward
Would I be better putting the €60k into a PRB or into a PRSA and add to this PRSA with my own contributions?/ What factors should I consider when deciding which option to take?
I would much appreciate any insight or advice
Many thanks,
Mark
