Postbank - Mandated Salary

Hello,
I recently opened a Postbank current account. My salary is usually credited on 25th of each month. My employer "lodges" the salaries two working days before the 25th so would it be safe to assume that my salary will be in my new account on the right day. Postbank have given me a sort code , account number , IBAN and BIC , all of which I have notified to my employer. Thanks in advance.

It may, but don't be surprised if it takes a day longer. Postbank don't appear to be part of the clearing system (see below) so it would be much the same as paying your salary into a building society or a credit union account, ie the transaction has to go through another bank first. In Postbank's case Bank of Ireland.
