Viewing a house at present. Had been rented. Idle for 2.5/3 yrs. the water has been turned off. Any serious implications does anyone know of once it goes on?
We will be getting a survey done if our offer is accepted plus intend speaking with our plumber this week. Curios now though.
TIA.

How old is the house?

This is normal enough for vacant properties, insurance will insist on water being turned off. Usually wouldn't cause any issues in a house with modern plumbing. Assuming a wet heating system, a good service would be recommended though, perhaps with a power flush.
