Possible to invest pension in non-standard products in the US?

Hi
I have a PRSA of about €250k that I've contributed to for the last number of years. A family member in the US has shown me some of the investment products they have access to - REITs, etc. that have pretty compelling returns. These products are from major, reputable, public companies but their retail investor limits are high ($1m+). Given the family connection, they have confirmed that I am able to access these products with a lower balance however, and I am interested in investing my PRSA in this way.

So my question is, is it possible to have a pension 'wrapper' that I am then able to use to grow my investments in a tax-efficient way while investing in such non-standard investment products like I outlined above?

Thanks you.
