My husband has a business for the last few years.
He has yet to make any profit from it.
He has been getting JSA for about 2 years to support us (there are no jobs going in his work at the moment so even if he was able to close the business he would still be out of work and DSP accept this).
We are wondering whether it is possible to get BTWEA given that the business is already up and running (well, limping)? It is unlikely to provide employment to anyone else at least in the next few years.
We are hoping that the business will become viable in the next year or two.
