Portlaoise to Dublin :how is the new train timetable working out for you all?

Fellow commuters, how is the new train timetable working out for you all?

So far the17.50 train has left late every evening this week. I presume this affects the slightly later Portlaise train? Anyway - fingers crossed for this evening (although I tend to have my fingers permanently crossed where IR is concerned!)

Same as that Barley. The mornings are worse. I start work at 8 which usually means I can get away at 5 in the evenings. This week I have been getting to work at 8:30, 8:45 and even 9:10 one morning! Upshot is I end up having to stay later in the evenings and get home at 8pm at the earliest, having left at 6:30am. Commuting is no longer looking like a viable option to be honest. I will give them until the end of next week to settle things down a bit, and then I'll start to really despair.

Yeah, cos it would have been a miracle for them to slip nice and easily into the new timetable. Those hours are mental, btw - but it has to be done, I suppose.
