Hi going to portaventura with two kids aged 6 and 8 initially hubby was to go but now he is to start a new job and would'nt be given the time off. We are flying to Gionna airport and will have to take bus or train to Salou. Just wondering for suggestions about easiest transport route from Gionna to Salou, also wondering if it will be quite at this time of year. We are going from 31st December until the 5th January.
 
If you haven't already got the Girona flight booked fly into REUS with RYANAIR. Its only 20 mins from Salou by taxi - Portaventura is great craic and you're kids will love it

We've gone there every year for the last six/seven years
 
THere is a train service from Cambrils to Barcelona AFAIK. Cambrils is one part of Salou.

It could be very cold there at that time. Enjoy.
