Portable DVD Player

I am planning to buy a portable dvd player for the kids and I know that both Argos and Dixons have one for €129. Has anyone bought one or done research as to which one is a better buy ? I think both screens are 4.5". Any advice would be appreciated.

Battery life has to be an issue. You'll want to be sure that a charged battery will last at least the duration of a movie. What accessories are you getting? A car adapter might eliminate battery charge problems. A headphone socket or two is a must to preserve your sanity on long journeys.

Never thought of that. Purpose of buying is for long haul flight to keep 2 kids occupied etc etc. Anyone bought either of these ?

I bought one on ebay that would not suit your need - requires mains.

However, it has a 7.2" screen which is, IMHO, the smallest you could get away with for 2 kids sharing. I would spend more to get a screen bigger then 4.5".
