Politicians to be prosecuted for non legitimate expense claims?

Gorden Brown has called for prosecutions for the worst expense claim offenders!

Will Brian Cowen call for prosecutions or that Politicians pay back expenses( with interest) which were claimed for non legitimate reasons? I have my doubts

Will he leave the news papers do his dirty work and out the worst offenders.

Interesting that today's reports suggest that Gordon Brown could be in trouble himself about his expense claims.

On the news tonight, it reported that Brown has to repay about £12000 which he laid out "mainly for cleaning". I seem to remember that this money was paid to a relative for cleaning his constituency house.
