I purchased an apartment in Warsaw in March 07 through a Polish broker/lawer.

I've been trying to get information for months on whether I can re-sell it or what options are available to me. I'm not getting anywhere. The Construction company tell me contact the broker and the broker tells me contact the company.

I can back out an take the hit of the 5% deposit and fees (assuming they return the balance). I'd like to be sure that the only option and I'm a little concerned that it may not be so easy to get the balance returned. I've paid about 20% to date.

Because of my experience so far,and the global market, I'm not inclined to part with any more money.

Anyone got any advice or know of any Irish broker / Solicitor that could get the responses that I need so that I can draw a line under this.

Re: polish property advice

I don't imagine that an Irish broker or solicitor would be the best person to deal with. Have you contacted Polish estate agents to see if there is a market for your apartment?

Re: polish property advice

Apparently the developer can also re-sell the properties, so I was trying to look into this. I suspect from the little I've read that there is little capital appreciate on the apartment.

Apartments are still for sale in the development, but I'm not sure of the exact price.
