Hi,

Last night, my dishwasher stopped halfway through cycle and gave me an error message that enough water wasn't getting through so I had to keep restarting the programme and it eventually completed. Then this morning I noticed that I when I turned on my shower, there was a 30-40 second delay before the water started flowing. Have also noticed a drop in water pressure out of the hot taps. Anyone got any ideas before I get the plumber out?

Is your cold water affected? Check the storage in your attic, the ball cock may be partiacally block and can't refill as quickly

There might be dirt coming through in the water & caught in the small filter at the top of the fillhose for the dishwasher ( they are usually off the cold fill ) .We have our own pump & it oftern happens just open the hose & clean the filter out . Possible that the mesh filter on the shower hose is blocked as well.
