Every year I have a problem with radiators not working off my relatively new stove. I have done usual checks as per Utube. Pump already replaced last year. I now want to disconnect pump from stove as my gas heating is stress free. Can this be done.

It's not as simple as that. Get a good plumber to look at it; most likely you've an issue with balancing since you've 2 separate heat sources, or the thermostat for the pump being placed to close to the stove so it's cutting in too early before there is a volume of hot water to pump.

You can't just disconnect a stove with a boiler from the heating system - pressure will build up in the water pipes and could cause an explosion. If you disconnect it and drain all the water out, you run the risk of the stove overheating and warping the entire structure of the stove with the risk of carbon monoxide escaping. It all depends on the exact stove model, and how it's designed.

Basically, stop looking at YouTube, and get someone who knows what they're doing to look at it for you.

Really thought it was a big problem to bring back the simple stove. Never would have gotten it if I knew all this. Could I just change stove and isolate pipes?
Thanks for all this

Yes.
But that sounds like the nuclear option. There might be a simple fix to your problem. Or depending on your stove it might be possible to safely disconnect the boiler.
