Plugging iPod to car stereo but not auxiliary mode

Hi Not to sure if this should belong in a different folder, so please move if required.

I have a 2006 VW Passat and would like to plug in my iPod and get rid of all my CD's in the car.

However the car does not have an input socket for a 3.5mm wire nor a auxiliary mode , just a radio, CD player and cigarette lighter.

Is there any other way of plugging in my ipod to play through the car speakers.
