Not Audi and BMW screwing you for years (Though I am sure they turn in a nice profit) It is the Government's rapacious VRT tax levels that were and still are screwing you!
The thing that really annoys me is that all parts of a car are VRt'ed and VAT'ed including safety features e.g. seat belts, air bags, ABS etc. Unlike many other european countries where safety features are taxed at a lower rate. So much for the Governments claims to increase road safety
