I firstly ordered a region1 dvd from playusa.com (a division of play.com) about 6 weeks ago. Got an email confirming dispatch. Over 2 weeks later nothing from them. I rang them up at their Jersey HQ and queried this. They said that the Customs and Excise sometimes stop shipments and they would resend. Fair enough, and they send another email confiming dispatch. We are now 3 weeks down the road and still nothing. I rang them again and they said tough and they won't replace or refund.
I suggest ringing your Crecit Card Company to dispute the charge as you have not received the goods that you have paid for. They may then take it up with Play.
I've been using Play and Playusa for about 3 years now and have always found them brilliant to deal with. I've only ever had one disc go missing and that was over Christmas. They replaced it straight away (the original arrived eventually) without any issues. In saying that I don't think they will send out a third one, they have to have a cut off point.
Was it send by registered / insured post?
if not, then, how could you hold them responsible... they send you 2 already.....
