Plastic window cill

I have just had a new window uPVC window installed.

I didn't realise that the cill being installed would not be wood and so it never occurred to me to ask.

I was none to happy to find that it's a horrible plastic yoke. How big a deal is it to remove and replace the cill?

Have now answered my own question!

I walked past it again a short while ago and was so disgusted with it I decided to try and yank it out!

The adhesive hadn't gone off so it came out fairly easily. Off to B&Q now to get some wood!

Count yourself lucky, i've actually seen them used as an outside cill
