The in-laws have 4 year old 42" plasma. Over the past few months, it is noticeable that there is a flickering of pink/blue lines in the centre of the screen at times. Does anybody know what causes this - is it repairable or is telly on its last legs?
this is very common so i was told, it happened to my sisters tv after 3yrs and my friends too. my sister got hers fixed, it cost 145 euro but she had to get it delivered to the shop herself as they couldnt repair it in her home
have a look at the [broken link removed] on avforums.com. Lots of info, there might be threads with the same issue. Note that it's a UK site, and the model no.s for some manufacturers (e.g. panasonic) are slightly different in Ireland.
