Planning retention on a garage build

Hi I have to apply for retention on a garage build what is the process cost and do I need an agent/engineer

An engineer will do this for you - if you need a recommendation, then detail the area you are in, people in AAM should be able to help you out there.

With regards to cost, pick a number - my experience in the last few weeks when getting quotes for retention planning. I had a few quotes of around €700 plus additional costs of planning / paper advert up to €2500 (plus VAT).

Depending on location and who you use the quotes can vary.
I've seen them at €1000 including costs for minor retentions and up to €1500 including costs here in Dublin by a technician.
