Planning Permission Query

Hi,

I have a query on planning permission decisions at the moment. We got grant of planning on the 9th of April, and we have been told that we will receive our full planning permission on the 2nd of July. I understand there was extensions due to Covid19, however, this is 82 days after we got our grant. Does anyone know here if that is correct as we have been given different dates on a couple of occasions when calling the council.

The dates kept on changing. They have to allow time for an appeal by someone to An Bord Pleanala, they're snowed under with decisions and behind with deciding. I'm sure I saw updated time limits online somewhere, have a google.

Thanks for reply. Yes seems to be the case that the dates have been changed a couple of times. Extremely frustrating as buying site subject to planning and auctioneer keeps contacting me. Thanks

You have to add about 56 days to the public notice period. This includes the 4 weeks after the notification of decision to grant was issued to you in April.
Effectively your stuck and cannot lodge a Commencement Notice until the Final Grant is issued.

Thanks for that, yeah it's frustrating but guess we cant really do much about it!
