Planning permission for Garage Door

Hi,

I have a semi detached house with a drive in garage - above which one of the bed rooms of the house is located... could someone tell me if I need planning permission to Put a Garage Door on the same please?

Best advice is to contact your local planning department but I would imagine that seeing you are not extending or increasing the size of the garage then you would not but as I said contact the planners first.
 
I suspect that you may not need PP based on but best to check as racso suggests.
