plan charity

Has anyone ever hear of an irish charity called plan, they called around yesterday evening to our house, seem genuine and the person calling said they were salaried and not on commission which in my books is better than those who work on the basis of signing up people and receiving * months contributions. Since I have never heard of them and was interested if anyone has and if they are genuine. They seem to have a website and the address tallies up, but you can never be too sure with the amount of bogus charity collectors etc.

They look legit to me anyway. Why not contact some of the directors and other principals mentioned in the reports on the site to verify for their authenticity?
