Pine Solid wood flooring getting damaged

A Chairde,


A friend of mine installed Pine flooring, and is now getting gashed up by kids etc ... , is thinking of ripping them up and putting down a darker hard wood floor instead.


Was wondering if there was anything you can paint onto, or pour to stain and harden floors ???
 
if the floor has a polyurethane finish you can re-coat the flooring with a commerical grade waterbased polyurethane. bona kemi make a product called traffic,it is the most durable waterbased polyurethane on the market. is the floor finish scratched or is the floor getting dented from wear . you may need to hire pro finisher to apply finish as it is a professional product and not that easy to apply. bona finishes have great levelling and superb sheen qualities.
