Hi,
I'd appreciate your advise.
I'm renovating an old attic. I've lifted the carpets to find the floor boards in pretty bad condition and can't seem to find boards the same size to replace them (1930s house)
As I planned on painting the boards anyway was thinking of replacing the old boards with new tongue and grove pine boards from woodies.

Any reason I should go for a more expensive option?

You'd be better off going to some of the builders providers or flooring shops for the flooring. Woodies tends to be expensive for this.
