Recently there has been high profile cases where the owner of a company is pursued for payment in respect of funds alleged owed by his Company. Does this diminish in some way the whole purpose of Limited Liability assuming of course no legal wrong has been done.?

Of course it does, but this is nothing new. Limited liability does not confer absolute protection for shareholders and directors.

I thought that was no liability for the owner of a company if there was no legal wrong done, but there could be liability for the owner of a company if he did perform a legal wrong.

Dewdrop - What high profile cases are you referring to? I must look them up out of interest.
