Could anyone please tell me do eircom have to install your phone line (New house, first phone)?
I know that now there is single billing from their competitors so you no longer have to receive any bill from Eircom, but do they still have to get them to actually install your phone line?
Having a nightmare with them at the moment. They are telling me it will be at least 15 working days, have tried ringing every day and asking can they do it sooner but nobody will help me.
Eircom are still a terrible service provider, offering a poorer quality service and often, at more expensive prices than competitors (Ive waited over 3 months for an Eircom agent to come out to fit a second phone port, despite several calls and promises that he is coming out on XYZ date, only to be let down time & time again)
As quick as you can, get away from this terrible company
