Any idea if there are any regulation are 'best practises' regarding wearing phone headsets in work? Say in a data entry position? Should the employee get a break so often? Should hearing tests be provided by employer ??

i would think as long as the volume is not up too loud, as if you were on the phone as normal, that u should be ok... some one may correct me though

All employees must not be required to work more than 4.5hrs without a 15 minute break or more than 6hrs without a 30 min break (which may include the first break). I don't think there are any special regulations for people wearing headsets.

no as far as i know there are no regs.
If your employer is aware you have an issue they can help so if there is one tell them. Its why most folks do a medical before being hired.
As Ms Ginger says you should take breaks as you are legally allowed.

Have you asked Employer about a yearly health checkup ??

If the job you are in is not ergonomically suitable, it may lead to litigation against employer at a later date, so generally in employers best interest.
