i am a pharmacist and i am going to open/buy a pharmacy.
my wife is a hospital doctor and i was thinking of getting her to open a gp surgery adjacent to my pharmacy. there are rules that prevent the spouse or dependant children of a pharmacist from owning a gp practice unless they are doctors.
we would have to employ a gp to work in the practice.
does anyone have any idea if the pharmacy regulator and medical council would allow such a set up?
