PFT - how to check it?

Hi All,
I applied for an increase in my PFT in 2011. I believe I was in time for the deadline. I THINK it was my then accountant who did the paperwork for me because now I can't find any records on it. I assume they are with him.

Is there any way to check directly with Revenue if a revised PFT was applied for/granted?
Who do I write to?

Personal Fund Threshold applications were dealt with by Retirement Benefits District of Revenue, which for some reason is a sub-section of Large Cases Division. You can write to Retirement Benefits District at the office address here.

Starbucks,
I don't understand how you would apply for an "increase" in your PFT. If you have a PFT currently, then it must be for a figure in excess of €2.3m (because your pension value was already in excess of €2.3m when the cap was reduced to €2.3m).
If your value increased subsequently above the PFT then the excess will be subject to the double taxation. You cannot apply for an increase in your PFT just because your value has increased. Your PFT is fixed at the level you applied for in 2011.
