Peugeot 407 1.6 or 2.0?

Currently thinking about upgrading my car.

I'm considering getting a 407. I would like to get a 2litre hdi which would be 136bhp. There is only a handful of 2litres on the net.

The majority seems to be 1.6hdi. I think there 110bhp??

Im just wondering would there be much difference in the power of the two cars?

Im a novice when it comes to cars. Im hoping to test drive both at the weekend and see.

Does anyone here own or know anyone that has one? Is there any problems/faults I should be looking out for?

The 1.6 HDI is a fine unit. Should be up to the task. Don't expect miracles though. It's a big heavy car.

I've checked out all the links. Ive a test drive in a 1.6 at the weekend

Just picked up a new 2.0 HDi....test drove the 1.6 and there is no comparison...very pleased with it.

Hi, my old boss bought a new one in 2004. I saw her last week in a new 2007 so it must be a good car!
