My son as has a 1998 Peugeot 306 and is having trouble with the heater - not throwing out any heat Has tried several garages to try and have it fixed but no luck. Most don't want the trouble - recession???
He ended up finding the part he needed on the internet and put it in himself. Got it working but the heater now only comes on full blast or nothing at all. Got stuck last night when he came out of work - no heat at all. Found it a nightmare to drive home because the windscreen kept fogging up and unless he left the window open (which he had to do) he could not see out. Needless to say he was blue with the cold when he got home. Can anyone recommend a mechanic that deals in this make of car. Has one or two other minor problems but was hoping to hang on to this car for another year. If needs be he will change it but can't afford a new one under the scrappage scheme!!
