Personal Retirement Bond (PRB)

I have ended up invested in one of these bonds from contributions I made to a former company pension scheme years ago. Its only a small amount (about 3k)

From what I can determine this money cannot be touched until retirement age. Does anyone know if the funds can be moved or reinvested or are they in effect locked away until that time ?

This is “Pensions” money so must be used as such.
That said, you can:
- switch between funds with your current PRB provider
- switch to a PRB another provider
- transfer the funds (perhaps) to any occupational pension you may be a member of with your current employer (if any).

Thanks
I am now part of a Defined Benefit public sector pension scheme
