Personal loan payment protection rebate?

Hi all,

I was contacted by BoI last week and took a loan to clear 2 personal loans (c1k remaining over 10 months & 6k remaining over 39 months), credit card balance & overdraft. The guy in my branch reckoned I would be due a rebate on payment protection which I had on both loans, checked 365online just now and there is a credit on my a/c of approx 7euro, do any of you know whether this sounds about right? I got the impression when I was in the branch that it would be more....... As always, I would really appreciate any feedback anyone can offer.

Check with your branch again. I cleared a loan a few years back and was pleasantly surprised at the figure I recieved. It depends on the balance and the time remaining.
