personal loan or what's best option?

Hi all, have to re-write this so it's shorter than before and apologies if it's double posted.

I need a 5k loan, don't have a guarantor and am wondering where is the best rate for such a loan- credit union or bank? And anything else i should consider? I have perfect credit rating so that won't go against me anyway thankfully.

Appreciate any advice.
