i've gone sale agreed on a house, valuation report has been done and loan offer has been made.
We have agreed a four month closing period and will need every bit of this to keep saving the last few thousand euro we need for the house - it went a bit higher due to other bidders being involved.
We're gone into major saving drive but if for some reason it looks like we're going to fall short, can we get a personal loan to cover the shortfall before closing on the house without it impacting on the mortgage offer? I assume the bank isn't going to do anymore checks on our accounts etc now that we have the mortgage offer so we should be okay to take out this small loan if needs be?
